Eagle River Report

June 9th, 2021

FLOW: 1350.0 cfs (Avon Water Treatment Plant)

WATER CONDITIONS: Clear, Fast and BIG

FOOD SOURCES PRESENT: Midges, Caddis, BWO.

THE LOW DOWN: Recently we have been seeing clear but high water, fish are being pushed to the banks and feeding close to the bottom. you can also find them behind or next to big rocks. Using Caddis, midges, baetis, and BWO patterns on a nymph rig seems to be what is producing. If the bite has been getting slow try fishing deeper or try to move into the shallower water by the banks..
